A FESTIVAL FOR LEARNING, EXPLORATION & INSPIRATION

Thank you for your interest in the Building STEAM Maker Festival.  We have worked very hard to make this inaugural event exciting, challenging and educational.  Building S.T.E.A.M will bring together the maker community, schools and industry to illustrate innovation, creativity and invention as we strive to provide a hands-on immersive environment of learning and exploration.  Our opening day, Friday, May 13, 2016 is Education Day and admission for students, teachers, administrators and support staff is free.  The festival opens at 10:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm.  A limited food menu will be available, however, we recommended attendees bring their own lunch.  The location of the event, Bell Works, in Holmdel is the former home of Bell Labs, which helped shape our modern world as the iconic epicenter of discovery and breakthrough innovation.

This is a hands-on event with many opportunities for students to experiment and explore.  It is important to remember that as part of this experience, students will have access to scissors, glues, paints, electronic devices and other material that need to be used safely and with proper care.  Every attempt has been made to provide the safest possible environment but students must respect the materials they are working with.  Please read our Code of Conduct/ Terms of Use page as it explains our position on attendee expectations.

Please fill out our School Participation form to help us assure your experience at the Building Steam Maker Festival is enjoyable, safe and engaging.
