The 2nd Annual Building S.T.E.A.M Maker Festival on Feb 24th & 25th is going to have a ton of fun activities for the whole family, and one of the events we are most excited about is our Art Contest supported by the faculty of the Art & Design Departement at Monmouth University.

This contest is meant to support the expression of creativity and of the arts through various mediums: Video, Photography, and Sculpture. We believe the Maker Movement is driven by creativity and should have accurate representation in the arts.

What is the Theme?

Submissions should focus on one of the following 3 theme ideas:

1.Technology and Humanity

  • How do developments in technology impact humanity?
  • Seek the submission of photographic, video and sculptural art that explores the visual and social significance of technology and its effect on humanity.
